Absence of a peaceful conquest
And our intense apathy
To avoid friendly fires
How much longer
We are alone together
On a new day same old dawn
A false progression — old news
Exquisite agony over the loss
Peace — it is your deafening silence
And your eloquent silence
Makeup a conspicuous absence
Your loud whisper preferred
Over any distant dull roar
You hear our silent screams for
Peace lilies in rusted canons
Nothing like too much peace
We are nothing without Peace
