Where is My Honey?

A poem

On a beautiful summer morn
A busy bee buzzes with no scorn
Knew the face of every flower
In the prairie visited every clover
Searched for nectar alone
The bee found none
Early nectivores had their fill
The bee arrived before the refill
Coated in pollen, the bee
Pollinated the entire meadow
Wondered, “Where is my honey?”
Landed on the arm of a cute boy
The boy let out a loud cry
Deafening the bumblebee
Who was missing a stinger
She rose from rose to rose
In the haste of making honey
Flew from peonies to poppies
Busy bee had no puny feelings
She wandered singing honey, honey!

Thanks for reading. 🙏
