The Healing Rain

Cleans and heals

Rain…

washes us clean
paints the earth green
makes the earth and sky meet
offers us a rainbow to greet

Healing are the sounds of rain
Calming is the smell of rain
Stress is washed away without refrain
Rejuvenates and stimulates the brain

Now dance as cheerful raindrops
Or sit still in endless rain showers
Oh! them peacefully living
Soaking in, every blessing
They forget the pain
When they hear the rain
For them it is festive
And the rain is not selective

Clouds spilling moisture — the rains that fall
A poet’s soul pours out — like a waterfall
Freshwater delivered with a silver bow
Hear rhythmic dancing steps of a beau
