Fresh snow on the ground would make one head out of the house to enjoy it. An economical way to enjoy it would be to find a hill and slide down on your bottom. Or, if your ledger permits, you could go downhill on the slopiest hill range on the fancy skis or go snowboarding. Go somewhere with a favorite person and enjoy the fresh snow with some hot beverage, another economical way. That would definitely be what I would want to do.

Now suddenly, all the snow turns into ice. No water, no electricity! Sounds familiar. That’s when you silently pack your bags and head south to the beach where no one can recognize you. No one can recognize you? So you thought! But unfortunately, you are so popular that it is not hard for a kid in a different country to match your face to your name. Gotcha!

Self-loving leaders have become so popular these days that they shun their responsibility and devote all their precious time elsewhere instead of serving the public during a crisis. How many more catastrophes will take us to realize not to elect them in the first place? Hence it is in our hands who we grant the privilege to lead us.

Healthcare workers show up every single time they are signed up regardless of their personal life. They are there to serve and take care of patients and who can deny this during these pandemic days. This is why folks in healthcare need time-off for recovery and…
