Oh! Dear River
We crave every drop of you
A beautiful sight of the foliage against the rocks on either side of the flowing river making beautiful eddies that create a symphony of droplets. The ripples, so beautiful, like dimples. You create peaceful, tranquil surroundings carrying life, quenching the many, and we enjoy you in the silence.
In the same silence, one can sense your turmoil to be with him—your meandering curves carrying everything in your way. Fertile, graceful, and your sweetness is what attracts everyone to you. All your sisters are just as you are.
Dear River, you adorn a bridal veil; you fall, depth unknown, over those high rocks. Falls that can never fail! Then, at the right time, you wear a rainbow while praying to the Sun. You create a unique melodious song by the time you land.
Your unique beauty makes everything around you serene, pulsating with life. You rush and try to hide your blush. Yet, the rapids you create do not hide your desire for merging with him. He longs for your sweetness to be merged with him. After that, your sweetness is completely dedicated to him.
You can never hide, and your smell gives you away. The brimming life in your belly tells your story well. We crave every drop of you. We pray for your soothing presence. Oh! Dear River, come to us and replenish us with your much-needed love.
