Morphed
Morphed into a pen to be held
By a writer to pen away serenely for all
With the writer’s daily worship of the pen
Now, the pen’s ink flows courageously
Warmed by the writer’s hand into
A peaceful, smooth river ink
Becoming works of oceanic proportion
Romantic or adventurous novels
Poems for all occasions
Teary or cheery love stories
A writer holds the pen tightly
Lest it may be stolen
As words have power
All a writer needs is the mighty pen
Surrounded by plenty of serene silence
A hot or a cold beverage to muse over
Birthing characters from the dark basement
One day to become bestsellers packed with
Pure passionate imagination and curiosity
Creating magical feelings emotions
Sensations as your eyes dance on the ink
Touching in quiet ways to sway you gently
“The pen is mightier than a sword.”
Shhhhhh — A writer at work here on Medium!!!

“The pen is mightier than the sword” is a metonymic adage, created by English author Edward Bulwer-Lytton in 1839, indicating that the written word is more effective than violence as a tool for communicating a point.
