Flowers and Shells
Collection dropped to zero
Meet the beautiful pair, Daisy, the florist, and Dale, the swimmer. Whenever both had a conflict or an argument, they sat down and took turns to talk.
Daisy presents a flower to Dale before she starts talking. Similarly, Dale offers a seashell to Daisy before his turn.
Each week they count how many flowers or shells each collected and record the numbers.
Over the decades, they became synchronous. Hence, the flowers or shells collected dropped to zero.
Daisy and Dale conversed in silence and sensed what each of them would say next. One would often catch them smiling blissfully at each other or laughing out loud together.
Daisy and Dale were a fabulous pair who worked through the conflicts and lived for over one hundred years!
