A Wonderful World

The stars peeked down at the earth

Stared at the lit souls on earth

Fell in love with the sight and exclaimed,

“What a wonderful world — the earth is!”

The stars had to look so far down

To get a glimpse of a piece of the peaceful earth

The stars rejoiced in delight

For they never witnessed anything so marvelous

They cherished the unforgettable sight

Beyond their visible sight and they broke out in a dance

The joyous experience of seeing the shooting stars

Was witnessed by the souls on the beautiful earth
