A Rose Lingers
Dec 26, 2021
Rain would have washed you clean
I plucked you just before the rain scene
Your petals wind would have carried away
You paint a smile on every face any day
Twenty days at the altar
You drank up all the water
Today you are still blooming πΈ
Trying to smile through the faded colors
Amazingly still bringing joy to others
I will not disturb lest you completely wither
A gentle refill for you to drink and linger
Dear Friends β It amazes me how long these roses last each time. Never seen roses like these. Thanks for reading. π
