A Rose Lingers

Rain would have washed you clean
I plucked you just before the rain scene

Your petals wind would have carried away
You paint a smile on every face any day

Twenty days at the altar
You drank up all the water

Today you are still blooming 🌸

Trying to smile through the faded colors
Amazingly still bringing joy to others

I will not disturb lest you completely wither
A gentle refill for you to drink and linger

Dear Friends β€” It amazes me how long these roses last each time. Never seen roses like these. Thanks for reading. πŸ™
